Making curd at home is super easy, barely takes 10 minutes of prep time and the good bacteria takes care of the rest.

Milk

Boil milk on low flame, let it reduce and froth up.

Switch off the flame once it froths up and let it cool.

Now into a bowl whisk in curd from the previous batch.

Once the milk reaches a temperature where you can easily stick your finger in, pour it into the curd bowl.

Whisk everything well and close it lightly with a lid.

Let it sit for 6-8 hours in a warm area to set.

Once set, refrigerate it.
Curd can also be set using whole ginger or chilli with its top, instead of using curd.
During winters, wrap the curd bowl in a cloth, pour hot water into another bowl. Leave the curd bowl and the hot water bowl in the microwave to create a warm environment for curd to set.
