Soak rice overnight.

Blend soaked rice, grated coconut and water (1 cup). Add water gradually to adjust consistency.

Now add all the blended ingredients into a bowl along with yeast, salt, and jaggery.

Let it ferment for 4-5 hours. It will rise and bubble up after fermenting.

Add more water if required. Spread it into a deep tawa and rotate to spread it.
Tips
You can also use a flat dosa tawa if you don’t have a deep appam tawa.
