Ingredients
Urad dal

Methi seeds

Instructions

Soak urad dal & methi for 6 hours and blend it with fresh water.

Mix jowar flour with water and add in the blended batter into it.

Mix the batter well with hands to help fermentation.

Let it ferment for 6-8 hours in a large bowl. Once fermented, it will rise and bubble up.

Add salt and adjust consistency with water.

Spread onto tawa and enjoy!

You can also make uthappam with it by spreading it thick and adding fresh veggies like tomato, capsicum, onions, etc.
