This is the original dosa podi recipe, will get your taste buds dancing! A flavorful South Indian spice mix that can be served with ghee, drizzled onto dosa, idli, or rice. It's versatile and can be used to make quick chutney.

Peanuts

Toor dal
1/3 cup
Chana dal
1/2 cup
Urad dal
1/2 cup
White sesame
1/2 cup
Curry leaves
2 sprigs
Peppercorn

Roast all the ingredients separately until aromatic. Let peanuts, chana dal, and toor dal roast until golden.

Once cooled, blend all the ingredients with salt.
This can be used to make quick chutney, just add 1 tbsp of the podi, spices of choice, grated coconut and blend.
Podi can be served with ghee, drizzled onto dosa, idli, or rice.
You can also add dried red chilli if you prefer it spicy.
Refrigerate it for an extended shelf life, else, it could develop mold.
Adjust the amount of salt and red chilli to suit your taste preferences.
