This is one of my favourite breakfast option, a recipe from Tamil Nadu!

Ingredients

Instructions

Wash and roast idli/dosa rice and moong dal until it turns aromatic.

Add in water and the rest of the ingredients & pressure cook for 4 whistles.

Once the pressure comes off the cooker, open and check if the Pongal is cooked and give it a good mix.

Now splutter jeera, pepper corn, curry leaves, cashews and peanuts in oil & add it into the pongal.
